Creating Impact Together
Al Younbouh is committed to improving the quality of life for children
and adults with mental disabilities across three different levels.
With the Student
Al Younbouh provides each student with an individualized program designed to meet his/her particular needs and developmental challenges. It is developed through interviews with parents, and the expertise of our staff.
This program consists of three key components: Educational, Therapeutic, and Social. Those elements stimulate and develop the students’ intellectual, manual, behavioral and cognitive abilities.
Its primary goal is to help the students build self-confidence, and self-esteem.
The ultimate objective of this curriculum is to empower student, leading him/her into becoming an autonomous individual, capable of taking full command of his/her life.

With the Family
Al Younbouh understands that the successful societal integration of its students requires full collaboration and active engagement from their families.
It works on multiple levels to assist and counsel families, helping them to find balance, which is often disrupted by to the presence of a child with a mental disability.
We encourage them to transfer key responsibilities in their children’s cognitive and functional development to our trained professionals, in order to reduce their levels of daily stress. By giving the families the right information, we give them the ability to assess and aid the development of their children, becoming an active partner in their lives.

With Society
At Al Younbouh, social integration starts with the Open Doors program at the center, where students from various schools interact with beneficiaries through activities in art, dance, and painting. This initiative fosters inclusion, understanding, and appreciation of the skills and talents of individuals with special needs. Open Doors for Corporate also welcomes professionals, encouraging engagement and collaboration between the private sector and the center.
Each year, the center organizes the Annual Walk with Al Younbouh, a fundraising and awareness event, that serves as a key initiative in promoting a positive image of individuals with disabilities. By shifting perceptions and attitudes within the broader community, Al Younbouh actively works to inform and educate society through various outreach activities. in addition to weekly Open Doors sessions that strengthen relationships with local schools.
The center also capitalizes on the power of media, with Al Younbouh team participating in conferences, workshops, and media programs aimed at raising awareness about intellectual disabilities. Al Younbouh integrates its students into the community by organizing educational, cultural, and sports activities, along with outings in public spaces.
Through these initiatives, Al Younbouh seeks to encourage the community to move beyond the stigmatization of individuals with intellectual disabilities and to challenge the misconceptions that often arise from such attitudes.
